Cool Is Not the Same as Memorable — Shopping Design Interview
A Shopping Design interview built around the idea that being cool is not the same as being remembered, asking how to create the most human-feeling experience in the AI era. Wu describes moving from programmer to director as AI lowers technical barriers, focusing on orchestrating emotional experience, and argues that impressive effects do not guarantee memory. He discusses deliberately giving up control mid-performance in The Last Input, and Taiwan.md as a combination of human expertise, AI assistance and crowdsourced contribution that he calls an algorithmic work larger than a nation.

Independent Thinking Beyond AI — Openbook Talk
The second session of the Openbook Review talk series, in conversation with Noopher AI founder Chen Yi-chang on what AI's errors about Taiwan mean, and on balancing sovereign AI with content licensing. The published notes record that Traditional Chinese makes up about 0.5% of global AI training data, and set out three levels of sovereign AI: infrastructure resilience, cultural values and productive capacity. Wu presented Taiwan.md as a repository machines can read, built on a single source of diverse truths. The talk also covered licensing that treats AI as a particular kind of reader, the risks of synthetic data, and an 80/20 split in human–AI collaboration.
