New media artist, musician and educator, born in Taipei in 1995 and based there. He makes digital life that grows and answers to people, working with code, the piano and an open-source knowledge base.

A live algorithmic weaving system turns thirty-five years of Taiwan's carbon data, Taoyuan's ponds and rivers, and visitors' daily choices into one continuously growing cloth on a ring of LED.

2025 in review
On 31 May 2025, at a piano concert in Huashan 1914 Creative Park, the audience could sit or lie down while, for ninety minutes, the visuals were generated live from the playing. That year MONOLAB, the studio he founded, made two performances, two exhibitions, four teaching programmes and four brand collaborations. The two concerts at Huashan drew 131 visitors, and The Eternal Garden in a Bottle drew 475 over six days at Pier-2 in October. The work went into an LG product launch and became a generative painting on the wall of Starbucks Reserve DREAM PLAZA Taipei. Teaching ran from a p5.js workshop at National Sun Yat-sen University and a two-day TouchDesigner bootcamp at Wild Lab to a weekly livestream at the end of the year, from 9 November to 21 December.

Twelve Rounds, One Day Before the Talk
Memory is the substance of life itself. Life is building a castle in a void world — we are at once our own foundation and our own next stone. The work is stone laid upon stone, paving a road into other people's worlds. Once AI brings the friction of execution and thought down to zero, what remains hard is being continuous — finding your own sunlight, the way coral does. So we, as human beings, can finally wake up.
