· Published Taken from the upload date; the work page gives only the month.

Graphene sonothermal therapy: a 3D animation for Chang Gung Memorial Hospital

The description says a Chang Gung neurosurgery team working with the university's electrical and materials departments combined nanoparticles with focused ultrasound to treat brain tumours, that Advanced Materials picked the result as a highlight in July 2013, and that the animation is by Che-Yu Wu. The work page on this site files it under August 2013 and describes modelling the surgical equipment and the view inside the vessels in 3ds Max, doing script, storyboard, animation and editing alone in a month, and slowing a first cut that moved too fast to follow. The animation was later shown at a press conference and released online.

Thirty-six Stratagems: twenty illustrations in six days

The folder 36 holds 20 jpg files with their SAI files, numbered 13 to 30 and 35 and dated 11 to 16 August 2013. The numbers follow the order of the Thirty-six Stratagems, drawn as cartoons in thick black line. The subject already had a title screen, 36.swf, in August 2012. 11th Intelligent Ironman Creativity Contest, vocational division champion: team Qiangu Juedui

The contest's list of past winners, run by the Ministry of Education, records the vocational division champion as team Qiangu Juedui of Da-An Vocational High School and Jianguo High School. A Yam News report of 6 August 2013 says the Jianguo and Da-An students, exams behind them, entered in the last weeks of their final year and took the vocational title; a Taipei representative office page dates the final to 6 August 2013 at Yuan Ze University. The official pages name the team, not its members; the CV on this site records it as a 2013 first prize, and the team's chant music is on his channel.

Evolution Revolution: genes whose traits rise and fall with time

An evolution simulation from the second term of twelfth grade. How often certain fragments occur in the gene decides which function of time, such as var + n·Sin(t) or var + n·Log(Abs(Tan(t))), drives traits like speed, direction and reproduction need; nine kinds of booster make a trait swing or diverge over time. A creature that dies leaves a pollutant that changes its neighbours' reproduction need. Only the code survives, no screenshot.

A Central News Agency report of 6 February 2013 says the ninth award took “check-in” as its theme, drew more than two thousand entries, and gave its jury grand prize and NT$300,000 to Colorful Life Key, an animation by Che-Yu Wu of Jianguo High School and Chen Kai-chung of Fu-Hsin Trade and Arts School; he is quoted saying animation is a hobby and the goal he keeps working towards. The list Fu-Hsin posted the same day splits it into a NT$100,000 creative first prize and a NT$200,000 jury grand prize in the senior high professional division. The organiser's finalists list puts “1, Che-Yu Wu, Jianguo High School” first in that division's animation category, with the ceremony set for 6 February. It was the last of his five years in the award, from second year of junior high to the final year of senior high.

· Published Taken from the post date. He agreed on 18 September 2026 to have this post on the wall.

The story of his contests: a first-person account written at sixteen

The second post of the same evening, written entirely by him. It starts at age five, with a younger sister born with a congenital heart condition and three hundred days a year spent home alone; in fourth grade he borrowed a copy of Flash from school and drew for an hour or two every night; a sixth-grade entry to the education bureau's environmental animation contest took only an honourable mention, so he dug in harder. In his second year of junior high a poster for the fifth Acer Digital Creation Award made him want to prove that play could amount to something, and to buy a laptop with the prize; he won first prize. He entered again in his exam year and won again, then, newly at Jianguo High School, squeezed the seventh award's piece in before mid-terms and took the jury grand prize. He ends by saying he is glad he did not win the grand prize the first time, that the laptop never got bought, and that the contests gave him something worth far more.

The organiser's list of 31 December 2009 names “426 Taipei Da-An Junior High, Che-Yu Wu” and notes that rankings would be announced at the ceremony, set for 24 February 2010; the archive page records the theme as a digital time capsule and the junior high first prize as Dream Come True. The video reached his channel only in February 2011, opening on a field of gold blocks with the caption “all the money in the world is mine”; the United Daily News describes it as waking from idle play to chase a dream.

ff turned into fly by 16 commands, one row per command with the string after it runs
PrototypeChe-Yu Wu / rerun of ff--result.txt line 47, 2026-10-01

· Artist record The project folder runs from 4 January 2010 (the solution file) to 18 April (the last write to ff--result.txt). ClsFood.vb is dated 27 February, ClsEater.vb and Form1.vb 16 April.

Evolution: string-command creatures that turn ff into fun

An evolution simulation written in the spring of ninth grade. Creatures chase food and learn a new instruction when they eat; their genes are string-editing instructions such as ADD, ADH, LFT, LRD, RRD and DEL, and selection rewards turning the string "ff" into a word on a list: fun, fly, frog, cat, and his own name, frank. ff--result.txt keeps 32 successful genomes. The replay on the archive page rewrites the six instructions in JavaScript; 30 of the 32 still produce the word recorded at the time, step by step.

The winners list the organiser posted on 18 May 2009 opens the junior high division with “711 Da-An Junior High, Che-Yu Wu, first prize”; the archive page files that year under the theme of energy saving and gives the title as Computer VS Power. The 2012 United Daily News report describes it as a reminder to switch computers off. The two-minute animation is still on his YouTube channel, unlisted, uploaded in February 2010 with a one-line description. It is the earliest work in his public record, made in his second year of junior high.

· Artist record The killer's files are dated 28 February 2008 and the detector's 28 to 29 February. That term was the second of seventh grade.

The 19530 killer and its detector: a seventh-grade prank program and its antidote

A Visual Basic project dated 28 February 2008, in a folder called vbtry. The killer is a button marked "來按我" that runs up and down; once it is hit, small text files pile up faster and faster in C:\Program Files\microcoft\bin while a window reads "你的剩餘資本" (your remaining capital). The detector shows the free space on drive C and a "漸進刪除" button deletes the files one by one. Only the description and the code are published, no executable.

The rebuilt 808 class site: menu buttons on the left, the banner “Taipei Da-An Junior High, class 8-8” on top

· Published Taken from the Internet Archive's first capture of the frame page. The menu and entrance files on the drive are from March 2009, the banner from July 2008.

The class 808 website: Da-An Junior High class 9608

It lived at tajh.tp.edu.tw/classite/9608/, called 708 in seventh grade and 808 in eighth. The Internet Archive kept the front page and the frame page but none of the Flash; his drive kept the twelve-button left menu and the banner “Taipei Da-An Junior High, class 8-8”, and none of the pages. Put together, the menu clicks again; the text of the content pages did not survive.
