資料夾 36 裡有 20 張 jpg，和每張各自的 SAI 檔。檔名是編號，從 13 到 30 再跳到 35，31 到 34 沒有檔案，23 有兩個版本。檔案日期從 2013 年 8 月 11 日到 16 日，六天內畫完。
編號和三十六計的順序對得上：13 號是拿棍子打蛇，三十六計第 13 計是打草驚蛇。14 號是殭屍，第 14 計是借屍還魂。28 號是扶著梯子的人，第 28 計是上屋抽梯。每幅都是粗黑線的卡通，右下角簽名，多數有一個對話框，框裡是一個物件或符號。
這個題目更早就開始了。2012 年 8 月 18 日的 Creates/123.jpg 已經寫了手寫的「36計」，畫著一顆長腳的腦和一隻螞蟻。同年 8 月 25 日的 Flash 檔 36.swf 是一個標題畫面，上面有 1~12、13~24、25~36、ALL 四顆按鈕，按下去沒有反應。下面第一張是那個標題畫面的截圖，後面 20 幅是 2013 年 8 月的插畫。
The folder 36 holds 20 jpg files, each with its own SAI file. The file names are numbers running from 13 to 30 and then jumping to 35; there are no files for 31 to 34, and 23 has two versions. The file dates run from 11 to 16 August 2013, so the set was drawn within six days.
The numbers follow the order of the Thirty-six Stratagems. File 13 shows a stick hitting a snake, and stratagem 13 is “beat the grass to startle the snake”. File 14 is a zombie, and stratagem 14 is “borrow a corpse to return the soul”. File 28 shows a man with a ladder, and stratagem 28 is “remove the ladder after the climb”. Every picture is a cartoon in thick black line, signed at lower right, and most have a speech bubble holding an object or symbol.
The subject started earlier. Creates/123.jpg, dated 18 August 2012, already carries hand-lettered “36計” beside a brain on legs and an ant. A Flash file dated 25 August 2012, 36.swf, is a title screen with four buttons labelled 1~12, 13~24, 25~36 and ALL, which do nothing when pressed. The first picture below is a capture of that title screen, followed by the 20 illustrations from August 2013.
