Raining Flower

I am fascinated by Causality. All life stems from the transfer of energy—sunlight, air, and water. Collisions and triggers that eventually bloom into what we recognize as existence.

Using TouchDesigner POPs, I simulated this organic chain reaction. I set up strict logical conditions: as particles fall from dark clouds like rain, their impact on the ”ground“ triggers secondary and tertiary stages of generation. Upon contact, the rain transforms, spawning flora that grows from the digital soil.

This is the essence of life to me. Seeing how strict, simple rules of causality can emerge into a world of infinite diversity and eternity.

我很著迷於「因果關係」。 所有的生命皆源自陽光、空氣與水的能量流轉，經過無數次的碰撞與觸發，才長出了我們所認知的生命型態。

在 TouchDesigner 中，我使用 POPs 粒子系統來模擬這場微觀的演化。 設定了嚴謹的物理觸發機制：當雨滴從烏雲落下，觸碰地面的瞬間，便會觸發（Trigger）第二階、甚至第三階的生成反應。能量轉化為質量，讓一株株植物在落地處迸發、生長。

這就是我眼中的生命——看似嚴格的因果規則（Rules of Causality），最終卻「湧現（Emerge）」出我們眼前這個充滿多樣性與永恆的世界。
