發表時寫的
I’ve always been fascinated by early animation devices. The way spinning disks exploit the persistence of vision to leave a continuous trail of motion—much like the stroboscopic effect on vinyl records. To me, this ancient form of animation creates an illusion that feels more solid, textured, and magical than modern digital video.
Using TouchDesigner, I recreated this mechanism. I used a Feedback loop to virtually “burn” the animation frames onto the disk’s texture. When spun faster than the eye can track, the static images merge into movement. Think of it as an ancient GIF.

它站在哪些模組上
這件掛在 6 個共用模組上:Cinematic_POSTFX_251204、VisualFrame_251214、base_Phenakistoscope_251224、base_audio_251201、basic_3d_render_251224、work_capturer_251213。模組名裡的六位數是它做好的日期;同一個模組出現在好幾件作品裡,就是這一系列的血緣。
