Written at release

Etching light into the fabric of time.

I’ve always been captivated by sparklers—the way they leverage retinal persistence to turn fleeting moments into glowing trajectories.

To capture this stochastic beauty, I designed a cascading particle system in TouchDesigner. It follows a two-stage logic: as the primary particle decays and extinguishes, it triggers a secondary explosion, simulating the chaotic burst of dying embers.

Using Leap Motion, I can physically conduct this combustion. My hand movements modulate the burn intensity and the density of the granular soundscape, balancing the equation between gravity, air resistance, and random fluctuations.

A digital study of light, decay, and memory.

What it is built on

This one is built on 7 shared modules: Cinematic_POSTFX_251204, Cinematic_POSTFX_251205, Mock_StageReflect_251212, VisualFrame_251214, base_audio_251201, basic_3d_render_251209, work_capturer_251213. The six digits in a module name are the day it was made; the same module appearing across works is the lineage of this series.
