Sliderverse — the 1,285 editions

On 15 December 2021 Sliderverse began minting on Doodle Labs’ Art Blocks Engine contract: holders of the Family Mooks first redeemed SLIDER tokens for free, then on 17 December the public sale opened at 0.1 ether, and one thousand and forty-five editions were minted that day. The contract ceiling was 5,001; the last edition was minted on 7 October 2022 and the count stopped at 1,285. Each edition grows from the hash assigned on chain: its first sixteen digits become a seed, the seed decides the colour theme, the background, the logo, how many sliders, how many doubles, the side, the drink and the easter egg, then gives each slider its own layers of bun, patty, cheese, bacon, egg, onion and pickle; a physics simulation stacks them, and the Web Audio API synthesises a lo-fi beat for every edition from scratch. Since Doodle Labs’ site stopped answering after 2023, the record of these 1,285 is kept here, by us: every hash, the share of each trait across the whole, the two brand palettes and the official render of the day. Collectors’ names and wallet addresses stay on chain, not here.
