研究報告的署名是「研究者：60610 吳哲宇，指導老師：藍清淵老師」。動機寫在第一段：有一次爸爸看到他隨手拿一支筆、一把尺做出簡易的樂器，嚇了一跳，就叫他彈一首歌。
他排了十二個高腳杯，用鐵棒和木棒敲，量水佔杯子多少時會是 Do、Re、Mi，再把水換成醬油、油、醋、牛奶、豆漿、綠茶和可樂，最後試膠狀的果凍蠟和冰塊。結果表裡有一句：可樂倒到水的 Mi 那個高度時音差不多，倒到 Re 那個高度時就差很多。

The report is signed “Researcher: 60610 Che-Yu Wu; advisor: Mr Lan Ching-yuan.” The motive is in the first paragraph: his father once watched him make a simple instrument out of a pen and a ruler, was startled, and asked him to play a song on it.
He lined up twelve goblets, struck them with a metal rod and a wooden one, and measured how full a glass had to be to sound Do, Re and Mi; then he swapped the water for soy sauce, oil, vinegar, milk, soy milk, green tea and cola, and finally tried jelly wax and ice. One line in the results table: filled to water's Mi, cola sounds about the same; filled to water's Re, it is well off.
