What characteristics define something as alive? F''(x) = LIFE？ Following his 2022 solo exhibition "Chaos Laboratory," new media artist Che-Yu Wu presents "The Formula of Everything" in 2023, featuring new digital artworks and real-time audio-visual interactive technology. Wu and his team have reconstructed a series of "digital life" artistic creations, creating an artistic realm themed around "The Formula of Everything." Combining nature, physics, modern art, and mathematical rhythms with classical and modern electronic music compositions, this exhibition features 13 carefully selected generative algorithmic artworks as its main narrative axis, combined with live audio-visual performances, inviting audiences to open their senses and step into the infinite universe. Ticket holders can also redeem limited-edition "Origin Light Fragment" NFTs during the exhibition! Live Performance by Artist and Electronic Musician Soul-searching questions that reach the heart, feel the expansive tension of digital life! In addition to permanent interactive art rotation and daily artwork tours, this exhibition also features limited solo and duo performance sessions. Solo performances will feature cross-disciplinary new media artist Che-Yu Wu in improvisational performances and artwork guidance, while duo sessions will feature electronic musician KIVΛMKII in live performances. KIVΛMKII specializes in Bass Music / Sci-Fi / Cinematic genres, with works frequently featured in TV dramas, music games, bands and solo singles. He is a leading figure in Taiwan's electronic music scene, injecting musical depth into the exhibited artworks. KIVΛMKII: "We will attempt to use the spectrum of light and the vibrations of sound to create our own symphony of life, depicting the endless journey of all things in the universe. Through art's infinite equation, we decode the mysteries of life." Through programming, music, and live interactive performances, embark on an evolutionary journey from the origin of life. 12 scenes unfold in real-time—born from the void of the universe, crossing the emotions of mountains and peaks, diving into the stillness of the deep sea. Under the dual embrace of giant screens and surround sound, enjoy 30 minutes of visual and auditory feast, combined with AMBI SPACE ONE's unique surround sound field.
